Vivo Launches Y93 Handset with Helio P22 SoC And Fingerprint Scanner For Just Rs.13,990

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant, had announced the introduction of Vivo Y93, a mid-range smartphone in China back in November. Finally, the device got unveiled just when the Indians are busy partying during Christmas and looking for an exotic product to gift their special ones. The device is available in both Chinese and Indian variants. Although the model is the same, they have features that make them different from each other.

Technical Specifications

A key technical aspect of Vivo Y93 is it flaunts a bezel-less display with tiny waterdrop notch on the top. The screen has a measurement of 6.22-inches possessing an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. In terms of design, the phone sports a gradient finish and comes in multiple colour variants namely Starry Night, and Nebula Purple. Barring the China version of this phone, the India variant of the Y93 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the back. On the camera front, the device features a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor accompanied by a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The front panel consists of an 8MP f/1.8 sensor for clicking selfies.

The Indian version of Vivo Y93 is equipped with a Media Tek Helio P22 chipset, while the China variant comes with a Snapdragon 439 processor-here lies the core difference. Both the variants are coupled with 4GB RAM. The device offers 32GB internal memory expandable via a microSD card slot for additional requirements. On the software front, both the variants of Y93 run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with custom built Funtouch OS 4.5 skinned on the top. The device is powered by a heavy 4,030 mAh battery which when charged has the ability to remain juiced till 2 days.

The Vivo Y93 is a dual SIM smartphone and offers all the conventional connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
