The global e-commerce giant, Amazon, has finally launched the Echo Input for the Indian Customers. This device with ultra-edge technology opens the doorway of gadget revolution in the Indian market. Enabled with AI-capabilities, it has already managed to garner the attention of gadget freaks across all the age groups.

The Echo Input allows the users for transforming an existing speaker into a smart one by the addition of the Alexa voice assistant. In terms of design, the Echo input comes in a disc-shaped one and measures a thickness of 12.5mm. On the top, there is a standalone Blue LED light clubbed with two buttons in order to switch off the microphone and trigger Alexa. The device is loaded with four microphones so that the voice instructions can be utilised across the room.
In order to establish the Echo input, users need to take the help of the Alexa app available on Android and iOS to set up the connection of the speaker with Wi-Fi and register it. The connection between Echo Input and an existing speaker can be easily established with the help of the inserted 3.5mm audio cable or Bluetooth. The Echo Input setup is featured with a micro-USB port on the side panel and comes packed with a 5W power adapter. Apart from playing different voice commands, users might instruct Alexa to live play music from the eminent streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, Hungama and Gaana.
However, one disadvantage of the Echo Input is that it does not come with in-built speakers. However, it acts as a support device for your existing speaker.

The Echo Input has already gone on sale in India for a whopping price of Rs.2,999. The product has started getting orders and soon the shipping procedure will be executed. In terms of availability, the Echo Input will be up for sale at leading offline retailers like Croma and Vijay Sales.
