JAMMU, Oct 28: Flaying PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti for advising India over the minority community member having been elected as PM of UK, BJP J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri said that India is a step ahead and had accepted dynasts like her till yesterday but those days are over now and today leaders from within masses are holding highest public offices.
In a handout, Suri said that India being one of the largest democracies has always stayed open to electing public representatives irrespective of their caste, creed or religion, that is why India had PMs, Presidents and others from different regions and communities.
He said that India being the strongest democracy doesn’t need any such ill advice from anyone especially from those who have been promoting dynastic politics and dividing people on the basis of caste, region and religion.
He said that if United Kingdom has accepted an ethnic minority member as its leader, the people of J&K too had accepted dynasts for the simple reason that they came through electoral process.
The BJP leader further said that this indeed is a proud moment for us that UK will have its first Indian origin PM.
“Politicians like Mehbooba and those from NC or Congress are again trying to play dirty politics to keep the pot of hatred boiling, which is not going to happen now.
