Seems like Apple is gearing up for its biggest Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2023 scheduled to kick off from June 5.

While all eyes are on the much anticipated mixed reality headset and the software updates for iPhones, iPad, Macs and Apple Watch, it seems like the tech giant also has several new Macs on its mind.

In a tweet, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman reported that Apple is likely to focus on “several new Macs” at this year’s WWDC.

Gurman said that he is expecting Apple to throw major focus on three key areas: New Macs, AR/VR headset and the new operating systems.

“I’m expecting three major focus areas next week: 1) several new Macs, 2) the mixed-reality headset, 3) the new OSs. With all of the new hardware and software, I expect the keynote to be one of Apple’s longest ever and easily exceed two hours,” Gurman tweeted.

He later added that Apple is testing two new Mac desktops which have been dubbed as Mac 14,13 and Mac 14,14 that will come packed with M2 Ultra and M2 Max chips. The report further added that the new Macs will be introduced at Apple’s WWDC 2023 where a plan to start accepting Mac Studio trade-ins will also be revealed. “Can confirm Apple is nearing the introduction of a new Mac codenamed J475. What’s the codename of the current Mac Studio? J375,” another tweet by Gurman read.

Last week, the Cupertino-based tech giant had announced the line-up for WWDC 2023, which will help developers learn about the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks that are set to come to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.

Free for all developers, WWDC23 will take place in an online format from June 5 through 9, with an opportunity for developers and students to celebrate in person at a special experience at Apple Park on opening day.
