WhatsApp status: Explained: How to share your WhatsApp Status directly on Facebook & other apps

[ad_1]

WhatsApp earned brownie points after it rolled out the Status update on the platform. With time, the feature on the Meta-owned instant-messaging app has received several privacy upgrades including the option to share the Status with select contacts only.

The social network platform allows users to upload any media file to their WhatsApp Status which disappears after 24 hours automatically. WhatsApp users can share the Status with their close contacts or with everyone or even hide it from specific contacts.

While the Status feature is also available on Meta’s other platforms, Instagram and Facebook, which also allows users to share the same Status update between the two apps, the option was missing on WhatsApp for months.

But it seems like WhatsApp took the feedback from users seriously and listened to the demand of its users as the social networking platform has rolled out an update which will now allow users to share their WhatsApp Status updates directly on Facebook from within the app.

This feature will make it a lot easier for users to share on multiple platforms without having to open every specific app to upload the post separately.
