iOS users would now be able to add new members to their community and have access to all groups associated with that community on WhatsApp.

The Meta-owned chatting app has launched a brand new feature called ‘community entry point’. According to a report by WABetaInfo, this new feature has been introduced to simplify the process of adding new members to a community/group.

Before this feature was launched community admins (administrators) would have to browse the community info section before making such additions. However, with this new feature, they can add new individuals without the hassle of these extra steps.

Users Can Have Multiple WhatsApp Accounts In Future
Currently, it is not possible to have more than one WhatsApp account (on one device). However, the chat app is reportedly working to enable users to operate multiple WhatsApp accounts from one phone. This feature will be available for all Android users. The report reads, “When you set up an additional account for the first time, it will be stored on your device until you decide to log out of the account, so you can always switch to it when you want.”

Once this feature is launched, WhatsApp will save the password for multiple accounts simultaneously on the device. This will allow the user to switch accounts with just one tap. The user will see a menu of all the accounts logged on to the device and will be able to sign in to a particular account with just a light tap!

Screen Can Be Shared Via Video Calls
The Meta-owned chat app will also be rolling out a screen-sharing feature for iOS beta users. Users can now share screen space during video calls, just like Zoom. All activities on the user’s screen including notifications can be captured via screenshots and shared with the people in the video call.
