Sharad Pawar has said that Uddhav Thackeray failed to quell discont- ent in his party and resigned as CM without a fight. He and others also sensed a lack of deftness in Thackeray, Pawar says in his autobiography. The formation of MVA was not just a ‘power game’ but strong riposte to BJP‘s tendency to finish off the importance of other parties by hook or by crook, Pawar wrote in the book.
