Sushma Swaraj, former external affairs minister and senior BJP leader, took her last breath on Tuesday night. She was 67. The superior BJP lead was taken to AIIMS round 9:30 pm and was right away led to the emergency room. AIIMS doctors stated that she departed of a cardiac seizure.

“A remarkable part in Indian governments reaches to an end. India mourns the death of an exceptional administrator who dedicated her life to civil service and improving the experiences of the poor.

Sushma Swaraj Ji was whole of her kind, who was a matter of motivation for crores of people,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated in a set of tweets. Several senior representatives, including Harsh Vardhan, Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani Prakash Javadekar, approached AIIMS after she was in the hospital.

Swaraj had posted out a tweet in the night praising Prime Modi after the Centre’s progress to remove specific situation for Jammu and Kashmir and divide the state into two Union Territories guarded Parliament’s approval.

Prime Minister Modi, in his tweets, also praised Swaraj as a “productive speaker and prominent parliamentarian” and stated she was honoured and respected across party boundaries. “She was strong when it came to things of ideas and concerns of the BJP, whose growth she immensely committed to,” Modi said.

“An outstanding leader, Sushma Ji, set high standards in every Ministry she went. She performed an important role in developing India’s ties with several nations. As a representative, we also noticed her good side, supporting fellow Indians who lived in poverty in any portion of the society,” he stated.

“Very disturbed to hear the news of the death of Smt Sushma Swaraj. The nation has lost a much-loved guide which outlined honour, strength & honesty in city life. Ever ready to serve others, she will forever be recognised for her help to the people of India,” President Ram Nath Kovind posted.

Swaraj had kidney transplantation in 2016 and had opted out of fighting Lok Sabha polls preceding this year for health purposes. She is endured by her spouse Swaraj Kaushal and girl Bansuri.
