Seems like Samsung just can’t wait to hold its Unpacked launch event which reportedly will take place in July.

Samsung usually holds its Galaxy Unpacked Event in August, but as per recent reports, the South-Korean tech company will hold the launch event in the last week of July.

While the report is yet to be confirmed, Samsung is set to launch the much-awaited smartphones the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Watch 6. We can expect the tech giant to hold the Galaxy Unpacked event in July between 25, 26 and 27, this means that some of the much-awaited devices by Samsung could debut in the global market early.

Given the rising competition in the tech world and with rival Google all set to launch its very first foldable smartphone, it seems like Samsung doesn’t want to wait too long in releasing its own line-up.

Samsung is also reported to launch new earbuds at this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event. But even if Samsung speeds up the launch process and holds the event in July, it won’t make much of a difference as the tech giant will be early by only two weeks or so.

Meanwhile, Samsung last week launched its ‘News’ app with daily briefings, news feeds and podcasts to give users access to daily news from a wide variety of options. As of yet, the company has launched the app in beta version with plans to soon start rolling it out to users in the US.

“We created Samsung News to deliver breaking and premium news to Galaxy users in an easy-to-access format. Our goal is to support users by letting them curate their ideal news experience,” Avner Ronen, VP of Product Development at Samsung Electronics, said in a statement.
