Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose on the film based on VD Savarkar: “Mr. Hooda is a famous actor & director. It’s great that he is making a film about Savarkar, but film must be made according to Savarkar’s personality. There is no need for Netaji, Bhagat Singh & Khudiram Bose when making a movie on Savarkar. Savarkar’s ideas were different, he had a Hindutva ideology, he was attached to Hindu Mahasabha, but Netaji was against Hindu Mahasabha & he had an inclusive & secular ideology. If they show distorted facts then the nation’s 140 crore people will go against him.”
