This week, MediaTek announced a couple of new chipsets – Dimensity 9200, Pentonic 1000, T800, Kompanio 520, and 528.

The Dimensity 9200 will come to be seen in top-tier smartphones starting later this year. The Pentonic 100, which enables features like MEMC, and Dolby Vision IQ, will come inside 4K smart televisions. The Mediatek T800 is a 5G modem, supporting sub-6GHz and mmWave networks. Meanwhile, the Kompanio 520 and 528 chipsets are intended for Chromebooks.
