The professional accounts on Instagram will now be able to schedule Reels, photos and carousel posts for up to 75 days with the help of the scheduling tool. Creators can go to Advanced Settings to access the scheduling features.
Along with this, Instagram is also testing the ‘Achievements’ features globally. The feature will allow producers to obtain achievements that relate to taking specific actions when creating a Reel. For instance, creators can collaborate with other creators, engage their community by making Reels more interactive and join the conversation by using trending audio or effects.
Creators will be notified when they have unlocked an achievement after they have published their Reel and can click on ‘view’ in the notification to see more information. They will also be able to keep track of what they have earned and look at what achievements they could try to earn by taking a look at the ‘…’ menu on any given Reel.
Recently, Instagram introduced some enhancements which will protect both users and creators from harmful message requests and comments. The Meta-owned platform has introduced improved blocking options, Hidden Words updates and more.
Instagram reveals that now when you block someone you’ll have the option to block other accounts they may already have, making it more difficult for them to interact with you again on Instagram. The Hidden Words feature on Instagram allows users to automatically filter harmful content from their comments and message requests.
