India tour of Bangladesh: India captain Rohit Sharma and the rest of the team will set sail for Dhaka on December 1. The Men in Blue play three ODIs against Bangladesh, followed by a two-test series. Team India are set to play three ODIs and two Test matches against Bangladesh next month. It marks India’s first tour since the 2016 Asia Cup. The series is crucial with the ODIs serving as a preparation ground for the upcoming 50-over World Cup. Meanwhile, the Tests are part of the World Test Championship cycle.
The Men in Blue have begun preparations for the series with Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli training in Mumbai. As per TOI, Rohit and Rahul trained at the MCA’s BKC training complex on Friday. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli returned from a break in Uttarakhand and hit the gym. Cheteshwar Pujara is also training back home in Gujarat.
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and the other senior players are set to depart for Bangladesh on December 1. However, Rishabh Pant and Co will travel to Dhaka from New Zealand. Pant alongside Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill and Shikhar Dhawan are part of the IND vs NZ ODI series.

Cheteshwar Pujara should travel alongside Rohit and Co despite not being part of the ODI series. The veteran along with Umesh Yadav and KS Bharat will feature for India A during the 3 ODIs. The Men in Blue however have a couple of training sessions before they play their first ODI at Dhaka on December 4.
