Ingredients required- 2 aloe vera sticks, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ¼ tsp mustard seeds, ¼ tsp hing, 1 green chilli, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp fennel seeds powder, ½ tsp amchur powder, 2 tbsp oil and salt as per taste.
Method-
Wash the aloe vera sticks well and cut the sides to remove the thorns.
Now chop the aloe vera into small pieces.
Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
Add 1 pinch turmeric and ½ tsp salt.
Add chopped aloe vera pieces and let them boil for 8 minutes.
Take out the boiled pieces in a bowl.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing, chopped green chilli and saute for a minute.
Add boiled aloe vera pieces along with turmeric, coriander powder, fennel seeds powder, amchur powder and salt.
Mix and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Serve the sabzi with chapati and enjoy.
