After Samsung launched the fold and flip smartphones in the global market, it opened the gates for the foldable devices to make a comeback, with better tech and modifications.

While Apple is reportedly working on introducing a foldable device in the market soon, rumours have been riff regarding Google’s Pixel Fold, the search engine giant’s very own smartphone that bends, folds or maybe even flips.

According to a new report, Google is gearing up to launch its Pixel Fold smartphone at the earliest. Yes, according to Jon Prosser, Google will be unveiling its brand new foldable phone, Google Pixel Fold on May 10.

The tech company will reportedly launch the smartphone in the global market on June 27, with the pre-booking opening from May 10 itself, the report added.

It is also being reported that Google will be launching the Pixel 7a alongside the Pixel Fold. Prosser’s claim was further backed by tech tipster Snoopy Tech who has reported that the pocket-friendly smartphone will arrive in the market in next 14 days.

The budget-friendly smartphone, Google Pixel 7a, will come in four colour options: Charcoal, Snow, Sea (Light Blue) and Coral. The report further suggests that Google will not discontinue the Pixel 6a phone.

Now talking about the pricing, the Google Pixel Fold will most likely be priced at $1,799, whereas the Google Pixel 7a may be available at a starting price of $499.

We can also expect Google to launch both the smartphones with Google’s Tensor G2 processor. So far we don’t know the configurations of RAM, internal storage space and the pixels on the Google Pixel Fold and Google Pixel 7a.

Meanwhile, several reports suggest that the upcoming Google Pixel 7a will flaunt the same display size as the Google Pixel 6a. The smartphone may offer a faster fingerprint scanner and refresh rate of 90Hz.
