Yes, you can argue that you are a coffee person and put forth reasons about why it is better than chai. But ask any hardcore chai lover, you’ll know why it is an emotion and not just a drink. That’s why when a food blogger from Uttarakhand shared a recipe for ‘coconut tea’, the internet was visibly concerned.

Shared on Instagram by Kavita Rai, a food blogger from Haldwani in Uttarakhand, the video shows the recipe of making chai in a coconut shell. The clip starts with a close-up shot of Rai putting a clean coconut shell on the stove. She proceeds to put tea leaves, water and brown sugar and prepares the chai. After a few seconds, the chai is made.
