FIRST NORTH INDIA SIKH GAMES TO BE HELD IN CHANDIGARH

First North India Sikh Games (NISG) will be held from April 13th to April 16th, 2023 in Chandigarh. This will be the 1st edition of the Sikh Games. The four-day sport event will be organized by the Sikh Games Federation of India (SGFI) in association with Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India.

A delegation of the federation visited the city in this connection. The delegation of the SGFI included Harjeet Singh (Chairman), Satnam Singh (General Secretary), Manpreet Singh (Vice President), Jagpal Singh (Treasurer), and Jaspreet Singh, (President – youth wing). The SGFI declared Sharanjeet Singh its patron, who is the president of the Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India.

Various games will be part of this event, i.e. Archery, Arm Wrestling, Athletics, Basket Ball, Budo Kai Do, Badminton, Bhangra, Cycling, Cricket, Daster, Football, Gatka, Gidda, Lathi, Hockey, Kabbadi, Karate, Lawn Tennis, Powerlifting, Shooting, Skating, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tug Of War, and Yoga.
