Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had food with his wife Sunita Gehlot at Indira Rasoi Ghar near Jal Mahal on Thursday. He inspected the kitchen and also talked to the people who came to have meals there. The CM talked about the quality of food, cleanliness, behaviour of the employees and other arrangements. The people present also thanked the Chief Minister for taking the initiative of Indira Rasoi. PHED Minister Mahesh Joshi, Deputy Chief Whip Mahendra Chaudhary and Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Munesh Gurjar were also present on the occasion. Gehlot appreciated the kitchen operator for using organic vegetables and said that quality food is provided and people are happy with the arrangements. The Chief Minister said that as per the spirit of ‘no one should sleep hungry’, nutritious food is being provided respectfully at Indira Rasoi for Rs.8. He also appealed to the public representatives to have food at Indira Rasoi at least once a month. He said that this would increase the prestige of the people who come here for regular meals. At the same time, the quality of the food will also be maintained. He said that the government has increased the rate for the kitchen operators from Rs 12 to 17.
