Board exams are around the corner and every kid must have started preparation.
Here are a few tips on how to set the right ambience for your kids to study.
Designate the well lit area of the house as the study area.
Make sure the table or the chair does not creak and is sturdy.
Put a table and desk, most preferably, next to a window.
Check the height of the table and the chair; bad posture is likely to affect study.
When you choose artificial lights, make sure they are not too bright or too dull.
Make sure that the area is not frequently visited by others
Keep distractions away from the study area for at least 5-6 hours a day.
If a separate room is not possible, use separators to demarcate the study area.
Encourage the child to take small breaks every hour.
Keep gadgets like mobile phones outside the study area.
