Accompanying the launch of the Honor View20, Huawei, the Chinese giant also announced the launch of an incredibly powerful wearable device for the Indian consumers-the Honor Watch Magic.
Back in November 2018, the Honor Watch Magic was launched. The device is featured with a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen with vibrant colour display.
Specifications
The phone comes with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels boosted with a pixel density of 326ppi. The Watch Magic is claimed to be the thinnest smartwatch in the Indian market. It has a 9.8mm thickness and in terms of design, the smartwatch generates a classy look flaunted with a stainless steel build. The straps are easily changeable and it provides a waterproof facility of upto 50 meters. The watch is available in Lava black colour.
Performance-wise, the Watch magic supports battery life of upto 7 days. The watch is powered by a dual chipset that is designed to deliver optimised performance. The device is enabled with an in-built GPS support for three Satellite Positioning Systems (GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO) to monitor activities. The smartwatch can work synchronously with both Android and iOS devices.
Fitness Specialities
Just like other smartwatches, the Watch Magic is enabled with a heart rate sensor that monitors your heart rate in real-time. The smartwatch can also be used for a multitude of outdoor and indoor activities that include mountain climbing, cycling and even swimming. The device can track various qualitative and quantitative aspects such as distance, speed, altitude, vertical velocity, pressure measurement, swimming posture recognition, swim strokes and more. The Watch Magic is enabled with a Professional Fitness Mentor that offers personalised running courses and professional recommendations for both beginners and experts.
The Honor Watch Magic is boosted with TrueSleep technology to track sleep and breathing patterns. The smartwatch also displays notifications for incoming calls, messages, flight and hotel booking information. The same feature is only available on phones running on EMUI 9.1 or later.
Pricing
The Honor Watch Magic has been launched in two variants – Premium Sports version and Leather Band version. The former is priced at Rs 13,999 while the later comes at a hefty price tag of Rs 14,999.
