Manchester United vs. Bournemouth: Time, TV channel, stream, betting odds for Premier League match

[ad_1]

Manchester United are hoping to win four Premier League home matches without conceding for the first time since 2017 when they face a Bournemouth side who have lost six of their last seven top-flight games on Tuesday.

A sixth successive victory in all competitions could send United third, while Bournemouth will start the evening only two points above the relegation zone as Gary O’Neil seeks to avoid defeat – and see his side score a goal – for the first time since his appointment as permanent manager.

United have lost two of their past three opening games of the calendar year and three of their last five matches in January. Tottenham will be able to usurp them in fourth place if they do not win and Spurs do at Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Here’s how to watch the action live as United and Bournemouth meet in their first Premier League matches of 2023.

Man United vs. Bournemouth predicted lineups

Lisandro Martinez was left out of United’s squad for their win at Wolves because he had only recently returned from Argentina and the World Cup winner could be included this time.

Teenage star Alejandro Garnacho replaced Marcus Rashford in United’s starting lineup for their win at Wolves on Saturday after the England forward overslept and was disciplined by head coach Erik ten Hag for lateness.

Rashford came off the bench to score the only goal of the game at Molineux, strengthening his cause to be included from the start this time.

Scott McTominay (illness) and Diogo Dalot (thigh) could return to contention but Jadon Sancho and Axel Tuanzebe remain out.

Man United predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): De Gea (GK) — Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Shaw, Malacia — Casemiro, Eriksen — Rashford, Fernandes, Antony — Martial

O’Neil was unable to say when Philip Billing would return following his premature exit because of hip pain during Bournemouth’s 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

David Brooks, Neto, Marcus Tavernier, Junior Stanislas and Ryan Fredericks are also out.

Bournemouth predicted lineup (4-4-2): Travers (GK) – Smith, Mepham, Senesi, Zemura – Cook, Dembele, Christie, Anthony – Solanke, Moore

Man United vs. Bournemouth betting odds

The hosts are huge favourites to continue their strong run against opponents who have never won in any of their 14 attempts at United or neighbours Manchester City.

Bournemouth have not kept a clean sheet in their past 18 away games, conceding 26 times in eight league matches on the road so far this season and going more than six hours without scoring at home or away in all competitions.

Bets on Rashford to register may be popular. United’s top scorer has been directly involved in seven of their last 10 home Premier League goals and is bidding to find the net in three consecutive league appearances at Old Trafford for the first time.
