Osmanabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Maharashtra State Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prof. Tanaji Sawant on Sunday said being healthy is in our hands and only if it is checked from time to time, we will remain healthy and when it will be so the family, village and society will also be healthy.
Prof. Sawant was speaking at the inauguration of Maha Arogya Camp in Paranda of District .
District Collector Dr. Sachin Ombase, President of Bhairavanath Udyog Group Prof. Shivajirao Sawant, Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, Dr. Manoj Agney were prominently present in the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sawant said,” lakhs of men and women are being examined free of cost in this Maha Arogya camp .This is not just a check-up, but if any serious diseases are detected, free further treatment will be provided for those diseases. We have already done free check-up of more than four crore mothers and sisters in the state.
Further treatment of diseases like cancer, diabetes, blood pressure will be started in this, apart from this, we will also perform surgeries for women who need surgery”.
” In this general health camp held at Paranda, examination, tests, medication and further surgery have been planned for the last two months through expert doctors. We have found patients in the baseline survey by going door to door. We are determined to make these patients disease-free and we intend to strengthen this district.
If the district itself becomes strong, the district will become socially strong. A healthy society is the epitome of a good system adding that he will continue to work in the same way for this healthy society, ” added Prof.Samant.
