Nestle India issues statement – Roshan Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 19: After authorities in Jammu and Kashmir issued a food alert asking consumers stop the use of a particular batch of ‘Milkmaid’, Nestle India on late Saturday evening issued a statement in this regard.

In a statement to the news agency Kashmir News Trust, Nestle India said: “We read about an issue pertaining to one specific batch of MILKMAID sold in Srinagar. We will meet the food authorities urgently to understand the issue and work closely to resolve the issue.”

The statement further stated that: “Quality and safety of our products are non-negotiable and consumer safety is of utmost priority for us. We adhere to strict safety procedures, including quality checks at different stages of our manufacturing process for our products including MILKMAID so that the safe and high-quality products reach our valued consumers.” [KNT]
