Lenovo is the market leader when it comes to selling tablets in the Indian market. The Chinese giant has experienced a whopping six per cent growth in the third quarter of 2018 compared to the previous quarter, according to a survey report on Tuesday.
The phone now leads the pack with a staggering 22 per cent share in the domestic market.

Most of the Lenovo tablets were 4G and 3G, and the manufacturer’s exclusive Tab 4 series had the highest sale in Q3 of 2018.
The report also suggested that the leader Lenovo is followed closely by iball (16 per cent), Samsung (15 per cent) and Datawind (14 per cent).
To everyone’s surprise, it has been noticed that there is a decline in Samsung’s position in the global market because of their sluggish approach in evolving their strategy.
Lenovo’s dominance is caused because of the upsurge in demands from the education and financial services sectors. The research showed that iBall had cemented its stronghold in the retail market.
Apple, World’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, which launched iPad 6 Gen in the last quarter, recorded an overwhelming 51 per cent growth over the past quarter.
The report stated that 4G tablet shipments achieved a 47 per cent sequential growth in the third quarter, and according to market predictions, the 4G market is all set to 60 per cent of the overall tablet market. The tablet market is also focusing on enhancing their gaming features, the report added.
