Mann Ki Baat LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extends his greetings on Chhath Puja and Guru Purab in his 94th edition of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Chhath Puja is a great example of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, he said. “In Chhath Puja, the Sun worship is proof of the deep connection of our culture with nature,” he said.

India is harnessing solar energy in a big way. “It is transforming the lives of the poor and middle class of our country,” he said.

India has placed 36 satellites in space simultaneously. A special Diwali gift from our youth to the country. With this, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Kohima, in the whole country, digital connectivity will be further strengthened.

Non-government companies are also getting the facility to launch their payloads and satellites through IN-SPACe.
I would urge more and more Start-ups and Innovators to take full advantage of these huge opportunities being created in India in the space sector, PM said.

Post the address, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of C-295 Aircraft Manufacturing Facility in Vadodara today. It will be first aircraft manufacturing facility in private sector in the country. On a visit to Gujarat and Rajasthan from October 30 to November 1, Modi will also be participating in Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in Kevadia, Gujarat to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31.

  • Elon Musk planned to begin laying off workers at Twitter as soon as Saturday, four people with knowledge of the matter said, with some managers being asked to draw up lists of employees to cut.
  • Musk, who completed a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter on Thursday, has ordered the cuts across the company, with some teams to be trimmed more than others, said three of the people, who declined to be identified for fear of retaliation.
