The second-generation Tensor G2-powered Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have made their official debut in India. Google is apparently planning to introduce a new Pixel 7 series smartphone under the codename “G10.” Similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, the rumoured Pixel G10 smartphone is reported to have a 6.7-inch display. A resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels is also tipped for the display. According to reports, the Google Pixel G10 would use panels from the Chinese display maker BOE. The phone could feature Qualcomm‘s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

As reported by 91Mobiles and Kuba Wojciechowski (@Za_Raczke), Google is developing an unidentified Pixel 7 series smartphone with the codename “G10.” According to the report, the upcoming device would sport a 6.7-inch display similar to the Pixel 7 Pro.

The panel is said to offer a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. As per reports, the display will be manufactured by BOE. The Pixel G10 reportedly has a Qualcomm Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner as well for authentication. It could be possible that Google is testing a modified Pixel 7 Pro that has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader instead of the in-display fingerprint sensor that is currently available on the Pixel 7 series. This sensor should function considerably better.

In similar news, it has been claimed that Google is developing two handsets with the codenames “Felix” and “Lynx.” The long-rumoured foldable smartphone might be the “Felix” device, while the “Lynx” could be the Pixel 7 Ultra or Pixel 7 Mini.

Recently, the second-generation Tensor G2 SoC-powered Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones were released in India. The Google Pixel 7 has been priced at Rs 59,999 in India for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the Pixel 7 Pro is priced at Rs 84,999 for the sole 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The Google Pixel 7 sports a 6.32-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) OLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Pro model, however, flaunts a larger 6.7-inch quad-HD+ (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Google Pixel 7 lineup comes in three colour options and will get security updates for five years. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro both have dual rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor, while the Pixel 7 Pro also has a third 48MP telephoto lens. Both phones sport a 10.8MP front-facing camera and come with an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
