With just a week to go for Apple‘s much awaited Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2023, which is scheduled to go live on June 5, we bring you a roundup of all that’s expected at the event.

At the WWDC 2023, Apple is expected to unveil its lineup that will help developers learn about the latest technologies. The Cupertino-based tech company is also expected to unveil a few details about the upcoming iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS.

Here’s what we expect from Apple at the WWDC 2023:

AR/VR Headset
Long-rumoured AR/VR headset by Apple might finally get to see the light of the day at the WWDC, as per speculations. The tease may give developers the time to design apps ahead of the device’s much-awaited launch later this year.

iOS 17
Though Apple is not bringing any major updates with its next-in-line software upgrade, iOS 17 will come packed with the most requested features by the iPhone users. The iOS 17 will come with Smart Display lock screen option, updated Control Center, more tools for Dynamic Island among other things.

15-Inch MacBook Air
At the WWDC, Apple will finally show off the 15-Inch MacBook Air which will be the larger version of the 13.6-inch MacBook Air. The new MacBook Air will flaunt flat edges and come with a function key row.The 15-inch MacBook Air will likely come packed with a 500-nit Retina display like the 13-inch MacBook Air, as per reports.

Free for all developers, WWDC23 will take place in an online format from June 5 through 9, with an opportunity for developers and students to celebrate in person at a special experience at Apple Park on opening day.

Throughout the week, developers will be able to connect directly with Apple engineers and experts through one-on-one labs and activities in Slack for guidance on building innovative and platform-differentiating apps and games, said Apple.
