After holding a meeting in Delhi with Pradesh Congress Committee chief Govind Singh Dotasra, AICC in-charge of Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa told media persons, “I am keeping a complete tab on the entire development in Rajasthan and once Khargeji returns from Karnataka I will share my report with him. Whatever action I have to take, I will not reveal. I am watching everything.”
Most of the exit polls have put the Congress ahead of the BJP in Karnataka, where the votes cast in the assembly election will be counted on Saturday.
Last month, when Pilot sat on a day’s fast against what he called the “inaction” of the Gehlot government against the alleged corruption during the erstwhile BJP government led by Vasundhara Raje, Randhawa had advocated action against Pilot in his report to the Congress leadership. However, the leadership decided to tactically pause the matter in view of the impending Karnataka election.
In the meeting it was also decided that the state Congress organisation be galvanised into election mode as Rajasthan is headed for polls by the year-end.
