Scheduled to go live at 10.30 PM IST with a keynote speech by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, here’s what’s expected from Google I/O this year. Take a look
Pixel Fold
The Pixel Fold smartphone, Google’s first foldable phone and a reply to Samsung’s flip and fold devices, is expected to be introduced at this year’s Google I/O.
Though Google hasn’t revealed key details about the smartphone, we can expect the Pixel Fold to open exactly like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold.
Going by the teased video by Google, the camera bar on the Pixel Fold appears on the back of the smartphone, a design that has been previously seen on other Pixel products.
As per reports, the upcoming smartphone will flaunt a 5.8-inch display screen that turns into a 7.6-inch tablet when opened.
The smartphone, which will run on Google’s Tensor G2, will likely be priced over Rs 1,40,000.
Google Pixel Tablet
Fans of the brand have been waiting for Google to launch its first tablet, which the company teases previously, so we can expect to catch a glimpse of Pixel Tablet at today’s Google I/O 2023. Though the design of the tablet doesn’t look extraordinary, the Pixel Tablet will flaunt some impressive features and updates such as the Tensor G2 chip and Android 13.
The Pixel Tablet will offer 8GB of RAM for a faster and smooth experience on the device. The Pixel Tablet will feature an 11-inch display.
The Google Pixel 7A
At the Google I/O 2023, the tech company is also speculated to introduce its midrange budget-friendly smartphone, the Pixel 7A which has been all over the Internet this year.
Just like other devices, the Google Pixel 7A is also reported to come packed with Tensor G2 chip. The smartphone will reportedly flaunt a 64MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera.
Android 14
Apart from products, we can also expect Google to dwell on some details surrounding Android 14 which will feature some upgrades for the tech company’s upcoming foldable phones and tablets.
