Google had teased the Pixel Tablet’s design earlier at last year’s developer’s conference. So there’s been a lot of interest and curiosity around the upcoming device.
And just a day ahead of the official announcement, the key details about Google’s Pixel Tablet were leaked online as Amazon’s Japanese platform uploaded the product page on the site by mistake.
Based on the details shared on Amazon website, the Pixel Tablet will come in two colours: Hazel and Porcelain.
The Pixel Tablet will come packed with Google’s Tensor G2 chip with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. The Amazon listing also revealed that the tablet will feature an LCD display with 2560×1600 resolution and offer up to 12 hours of video streaming.
The new device by Google will feature two eight-megapixel cameras on the front and on the rear of Pixel Tablet. Other specifications that the device comes loaded with are three microphones, a USB-c charging port and support for Wi-Fi 6. As per the leaked Amazon listing of Google Pixel Tablet, we can expect the device to be priced somewhere around Rs 50,000 for 128GB storage variant. It’s still not confirmed when Google plans on launching the Pixel Tablet in India, but we can expect the tech giant to make the device available for purchase by next month.
Apart from the Pixel Tablet, Google is also expected to reveal details about the Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold and Android 14 OS. Google is all set to hold its annual developer conference, Google I/O, in May 10 where the CEO Sundar Pichai will deliver a keynote speech.
