In an official announcement, Apple revealed that on the first day during the traditional keynote, the tech giant will spotlight the latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS advancements.
At WWDC 2023, the Cupertino-based tech company will also provide developers with unique access to Apple engineers, as well as insight into new technologies and tools to help them realise their visions.
“WWDC is one of our favourite times of the year at Apple because it’s an opportunity to connect with the talented developers from around the globe who make this community so extraordinary,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “WWDC23 is going to be our biggest and most exciting yet, and we can’t wait to see many of you online and in person at this very special event!”
The event will be held online, though developers and students can join in person for a special experience at Apple Park on opening day. However, the spots are limited.
“Developers and students will also have the opportunity to attend a special day at Apple Park on June 5 to watch the keynote and State of the Union, alongside the global online community,” Apple said in a press release.While each year, Apple announces its latest software updates, new features and advancements, in 2023, the focus is also on the tech company’s first Reality Pro headset at WWDC alongside developer tools.Meanwhile, several reports also suggest that Apple is currently working on an updated version of the MacBook Air with an M3 chip set, and a new 15-inch MacBOok Air as well. We can expect Apple to tease fans and reveal a few details or features about the upcoming products.
