Preeti out-punched silver medallist Romanian opponent Lacramiora Perijoc in a split decision 4-3 and progressed to pre-quarter final. Later, Manju (66 kg) outpunched her New Zealand opponent Cara Wherarou 5-0 to reach the pre-quarters.
