Rahul Gandhi news: ‘Rahul Gandhi insulted India, should apologise’: Govt attacks Congress in Lok Sabha

The government today attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making statement on Indian democracy in London. Demanding an apology from the Congress leader for insulting the country and its democracy, Union Minister Rajnath Singh said that all members of the House should condemn the statement and Rahul Gandhi should be asked to apologise before the House.

“Rahul Gandhi, who is a member of this House, insulted India in London. I demand that his statements should be condemned by all members of this House and he should be asked to apologise before the House,” Rajnath Singh said on the first day of the second part of the Budget Session in Lok Sabha.

Union minister Pralhad Joshi also hit out at the Congress MP.

The second half of the Budget session of 2023 is starting today after a month-long recess. In the first part of the Budget session, the Union Budget for 2023-24 was presented in February.
