Google recently announced that Magic Eraser is finally coming to all Pixel smartphones and for any Google One (cloud storage service) subscriber, including those on iOS.

Magic Eraser first made its appearance on the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in 2021. It was then featured on the Google 6a and then the Pixel 7 series.

The Magic Eraser tool detects distractions in the pictures, such as photo bombers or power lines, so that users can easily take them out of the frame. Google users can also circle or brush other things they want to erase and the tool will make them disappear.

In addition, Camouflage feature in Magic Eraser tool can easily change the colour of objects in photos to help them blend in naturally with the rest of the photo.

The Magic Eraser tool can be located in the editor’s ‘Suggestions’ or ‘Tools’ tabs. You can undo removals at any time and revert the changes.

The tool is available for Photos 6.25 and a Google One subscription, Samsung devices, iPhones (version 6.26), and iPads.Meanwhile, Google has announced that it is rolling out a new feature on its note-taking service ‘Google Keep’ that will allow users to “pin” a note or list to their home screen on Android devices. Apart from this, the tech giant is also releasing the fall detection feature to all Pixel smartwatches. The fall detection feature uses motion sensors built-in to the users’ watch and on-device machine learning to determine if the wearer took a hard fall. Also, it will call emergency services if the user doesn’t move or responds within 30 seconds.

“You can turn the feature on in the ‘Updates’ page on the Watch Companion app or directly on the Pixel Watch in the Personal Safety app,” Google said in a blog post.
