Exit Polls: Win for BJP+ in Tripura, Nagaland; NPP Leads in Meghalaya

New Delhi: Exit polls have predicted the BJP and its allies will retain power in Tripura and Nagaland while NPP will emerge as the single largest party in Meghalaya.

As per India Today – Axis My India, BJP alliance is likely to get a comfortable majority with 36-45 seats in the 60-seat Tripura Assembly. The Tipra Motha Party (TMP) is likely to get 9 to 16 seats as per Axis My India survey while Left and Congress alliance SDF will get around 6 to 11 seats. The Zee News Matrize survey also predicted a victory for the BJP with 31 seats while SDF will be getting 16 seats and TMP 12 seats. The Times Now ETG survey predicts a hung house with an edge to the BJP led alliance with 24 seats while SDF is likely to get 21 seats. As per Times Now Survey TMP will get 14 seats.

The BJP-NDPP alliance is also set to return in Nagaland. As per My Axis survey, the alliance will get 43 seats out of 60 while NPF will get five seats. Congress is likely to get one seat. Zee News-Matrize exit poll predicted a win for BJP-NDPP in Nagaland with 35-43 seats. Congress is likely to get around one to three seats and NPF two to five.

As per Times Now ETG survey, BJP-NDPP alliance is likely to get 44 seats and NPF six seats. Others are likely to get nine seats.

In Meghalaya, the NPP is all set to return to power.As per Axis My India, NPP is likely to win 21 out of 60 seats while Congress will win nine seats, BJP will win six seats and others including Trinamool Congress will win six seats.
