Poco has recently started teasing its upcoming X5 Pro smartphone. This phone will succeed the last year’s Poco X4 Pro and is expected to launch soon. The company has also shared a tweet from its official Poco India account. This tweet includes a poster which teases the smartphone in the hands of the T20 captain of the Indian cricket team, Hardik Pandya. The poster shows the Poco X5 Pro in a yellow colour variant. Some pictures of the Indian skipper using the phone were also shared a few days ago. The company is yet to announce X5 Pro’s official launch date or any other confirmed details about its availability. A promotional video has now reportedly revealed the speculated launch date of the smartphone.

Poco X5 Pro: Expected launch date and availability
A promotional video for the Poco X5 Pro was aired during a movie (Pathaan) ad interval. A Twitter user named Sudipta Debnath has also shared a snapshot of the alleged promotional video on the social media account. The tweet claims that the X5 Pro will be unveiled on February 6. The image posted with the tweet also suggests Poco may sell its upcoming phone through the e-commerce site Flipkart. The report doesn’t mention if the X5 Pro will launch only for the Indian market or will also debut for the global market on the given date. The Poco X5 Pro may arrive on the global market a few weeks after it has been launched in India.

Poco X5 Pro: Expected specs
Apart from the launch date, the report has also revealed some of the expected specs of the upcoming smartphone. However, none of this information is official and readers should take it with a pinch of salt.

As per the report, Poco X5 Pro may be a revamped version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition which is exclusive to the Chinese market. The upcoming smartphone is expected to sport an AMOLED display that is rumoured to support a Ful HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is likely to house a Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 108MP main camera setup and a 5000mAh battery unit.
