Panaji: Secretary health Arun Kumar Mishra said on Tuesday that Goa is one of the finest states in India and can compete with any European or American country with regards to the quality of medicine.
“There is not a single adulterated medicine or fake medicine case register in Goa. We do not compromise on the quality of medicine,” he said.
Mishra was speaking after inaugurating the one-day state-level awareness programme on affordability, availability and accessibility of essential medicines organised by the Goa state price monitoring and resource unit.
Mishra also felicitated officers from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for their praiseworthy job during the Covid-19 pandemic on the occasion.
Present on the occasion were director FDA Jyoti Sardessai, deputy director NPPA Saurabh Bansal, deputy director FDA Shweta Dessai, project coordinator Madhya Pradesh PMRU Dr Priti Tagde.
