Samsung’s First Ever Foldable Smartphone Gets 6000 Mah Battery and Dual Cameras

Samsung, The South Korean technology giant, has recently put its first-ever foldable smartphone into an exhibition at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2018. The latest offering of the smartphone maker, Galaxy F, where the letter ‘F’ may stand as Fold.

After the revelation of this foldable phone, users started speculating about the pricing and specifications of this model. If the research agency reports are to be believed, Samsung Galaxy F will carry 2 separate batteries providing energy to two displays.

The report also highlighted that the combined battery backup on the foldable phone would vary in the range between 5000 mAh to 6000 mAh. Another market report claims that the Samsung Galaxy F sports a dual camera module at the rear comprising of 12MP sensors each. However, the front camera module consists of an 8MP shooter. According to a senior research analyst at CGS-CIMB Research, Jun Lim, this information has been put into public domain by the suppliers. The official date of Samsung Galaxy S10 Flagship Smartphone is likely to be on February 20, 2019, and the starting price may round upto $1765.

The smartphone is expected to be equipped with the in-house developed Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset that could be aggregated with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage memory. Market reports also hint at the possible introduction of the same smartphone in multiple storage variants. The first foldable phone will be launched in more than one storage options.

Samsung Galaxy A8s is powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC and is already in the news as the World’s First In-display Camera Smartphone.

The company has already unveiled the display screen size of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy foldable phone. The phone features a 7.3-inch display screen paired with 1536×2152 pixels of resolution and an aspect ratio of 4.2:3. When folded, the display screen of the smartphone measures 4.58-inch screen with aspect ratio of 21:9 and resolution of 840×1960. Coming to the price point, the South Korean tech giant is expected to launch the phone in the market with an average price tag of $1800 or Rs.1,26,000 in the Indian market.
