Redmi Note 7 Launched with 48MP Primary Camera and 4000 mAh Battery

According to the recently published reports, Redmi has reportedly split from Xiaomi and eventually unveiled a brand-new smartphone called Redmi Note 7 in China. This is a hotshot product from Redmi By Xiaomi sub-brand. The phone flaunts a staggering 48MP primary camera, a Waterdrop Notch, fingerprint sensor, and an extremely powerful 4000 mAh battery. The smart device is all geared up for going live on sale in China from January 15 onwards. This new offering comes in three vibrating variants namely Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black.

Banking on the success achieved by Redmi flagships, the company has announced the launch of Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China. The base variant comes at a price of CNY 999 for the base variant. The company is in the line of getting launched in India soon.

Variants

Redmi Note 7 phone will be available in 3 variants based on the RAM specification coming loaded with the models. The base variant comes packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. The remaining two variants are provided with 4GB and 6GB of RAM respectively.

Specifications

From the point of view of specs and features, the handset is offered with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC enabled with octa-core and coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes with a RAM capacity of upto 6GB. The internal storage capacity can be expanded upto 256GB by using microSD card slot.

Camera and Battery

From camera standpoint, the phone is offered with a dual camera setup at the rear panel. The primary sensor is of 48 MP and the secondary sensor is of 5MP sported with dual-LED flash and AI functionalities. The phone also features a 13MP selfie snapper enabled with Artificial Intelligence.

Battery

The phone boasts of an extremely powerful 4000 mAh battery. It supports Quick Charge 4 facility. The phone is rumoured to be strengthened with the capacity of providing backup of video playback of upto 13 hours. The battery also has the ability to function properly even after 23 hours of talk time and 7 hours of gaming.

Prices

Redmi Note 7 is launched at a market opening price of CNY 999 which is approximated at around Rs. 10,300 for the 3GB RAM variant. The second variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. The phone is priced at CNY 1,199 that is estimated to be around Rs.12,500 in India. The highest model of this series comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, priced at CNY 1,399, that is roughly expected to be Rs. 14,500.
